Do you want to compress photos, pictures or images? I will explain how to compress photos, pictures and images in this article.
As I mentioned in my profile, when I was working as a Site Engineer and Construction Manager, I prepared daily site diaries / daily progress reports, weekly progress reports and monthly progress reports. All these reports were key documents in the construction documentation. The construction progress photograph section is essential in the above progress reports. I used to add many photographs as it speaks a lot more than the words, which helped me minimize write-ups. Secondly, photographs could be more genuine supportive documents.
While I was preparing the construction progress photograph section in any report using the original photo, the size of the file would become too big. Moreover, keeping all the construction photographs can demand a lot of storage capacity. I used to take 20 to 50 photos every day to support all the statements in my progress reports, to support actual start and completion dates in the programme etc.
